We are planning to take a good number of horses to the Te Rapa trials next Tuesday.
Along with Sharp ‘n’ Smart and Solidify both heading out for a change of scenery before they get serious we are also going to take a group of two year olds out for the experience.
We have a lot of exciting two year old prospects coming through the stables now and we have been hustling to get them named so they can have a jump out on a beautiful local grass track.
Among those trialling will be nearly half of the Ferrando Racing Club horses. They have been doing well at home and now it is time to expand their racing knowledge. While it is helpful to have our tracks and barriers at home it is important for them to learn to travel well and a nice day out at Te Rapa is just what the trainer ordered.
